Privacy Policy
Last updated: 10 September 2026
1. Who we are
Raverzone is an online community platform focused on electronic music, artists, events, discussions and the surrounding scene.
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Raverzone processes, why we process it, how it may be shared and what rights you have regarding your personal information.
2. Information we collect
The information we process depends on how you use Raverzone.
2.1 Account information
When you create an account, Raverzone may process:
- Your username
- Your email address
- Your password in hashed form
- Your unique account identifier
- Your account creation and modification dates
- Your account status
- Your role and permissions
- Your verification status
- Your most recent login time
Passwords are stored in hashed form and are not intentionally stored as readable plain text.
2.2 Age verification
Raverzone is intended for users aged 16 and older.
During registration, you may be asked to provide your date of birth so that Raverzone can determine whether you meet the minimum age requirement.
Under the current registration system, your date of birth is used to perform this age check and is not intentionally stored as part of your Raverzone account.
2.3 Profile information
You may choose to provide additional profile information, including:
- A profile biography
- A avatar
- Social media links
- Other profile links
- Public profile preferences
Some of this information may be visible to other users depending on your profile settings.
2.4 Community activity
When you participate in the Raverzone community, Raverzone may process and store:
- Discussions and posts
- Comments and reactions
- Ratings
- Post tags
- Followers and following relationships
- Badges
- Experience points and account level
- Notifications
- User reports
Content that you intentionally publish may be visible publicly or to other registered users.
2.5 Moderation and security information
Raverzone may process information necessary to moderate the platform and protect the community, including:
- User reports
- Report reasons and descriptions
- Moderation status
- Account restrictions
- Ban reasons
- Temporary restriction expiry dates
- Administrative or moderation actions
3. Event information
Raverzone provides event functionality and may process information relating to event organizers and hosts.
This may include:
- Host or organization name
- Website address
- Contact email address
- Submission email address
- Event dates
- Submission deadlines
- Event descriptions
- Event links
- Other information required to operate an event page
4. Event submissions
Certain events allow registered users to send a submission directly to an event host through Raverzone.
A submission may contain:
- Your Raverzone username
- Your email address
- The event you are submitting to
- A submission subject
- Your message or description
- A track or media link
- An uploaded attachment
- Confirmation that you have the necessary rights to submit the work
- The date and time of submission
Your account email address may be provided as a reply address so that the relevant event host can contact you regarding your submission.
4.1 Submission files
Files uploaded as part of an event submission are processed for the purpose of transmitting them to the relevant event host.
Under the current Raverzone submission system, uploaded submission files are not intentionally stored in the Raverzone application database or permanent application storage after transmission.
The uploaded file is processed by the application and attached to the email sent to the event host.
Email infrastructure involved in delivering a submission may temporarily process or retain messages and attachments where technically necessary for email delivery, backups, security or server operation.
5. Event hosts
Event hosts are independent parties.
When you intentionally submit an entry to an event, Raverzone may transmit information necessary for that submission to the relevant event host.
This may include your:
- Username
- Email address
- Submission message
- Track or media link
- Uploaded attachment
After an event host receives your information, that host may independently process and store it.
Raverzone may no longer control how an independent event host handles the information after it has been transmitted.
Event hosts are responsible for complying with applicable privacy and data protection laws when processing information they receive.
6. Avatars
Raverzone allows users to create a personalized avatar using the built-in Avatar Creator.
Users do not upload personal profile images. Instead, avatars are generated from the customization options selected within Raverzone.
The information required to display your selected avatar is associated with your account and stored as part of your profile data.
When an account is deleted, the avatar is no longer associated with an active Raverzone account. Generated avatar image files may remain on Raverzone's server for a limited period before they are permanently removed as part of routine cleanup processes.
7. Cookies and sessions
Raverzone uses cookies that are necessary for authentication, security and core website functionality.
A session cookie is used to associate your browser session with your logged-in Raverzone account.
Raverzone applies security measures to authentication cookies, including Secure, HTTP-only and SameSite restrictions where configured.
Login sessions may remain active for approximately 31 days unless you log out, the session expires or the session is otherwise invalidated.

When submitting an entry to an event, your email address may be provided to the event host so that the host can respond to the submission.

Account and community information may generally remain stored while your account remains active.
Certain information may remain for a reasonable period where necessary for:
- Platform security
- Fraud prevention
- Moderation
- Backups

- Dispute resolution
Some Raverzone records may use soft deletion. This means that information may initially be marked as deleted instead of being immediately removed from the database.
Submission attachments are not intentionally stored permanently by the Raverzone application under the current submission system.
11. Account deletion
Users can permanently delete their Raverzone account through their account settings.
When an account is deleted, the account and associated personal information stored by Raverzone are permanently deleted. Account deletion cannot be undone and the deleted account cannot be recovered.
Raverzone does not retain a copy of the deleted account or its associated personal information after the deletion process has been completed.
Any information that was previously transmitted to an independent event host through an event submission is not covered by the deletion of your Raverzone account, as that information has already been provided to the relevant event host.

Raverzone may request information necessary to verify your identity before processing certain privacy requests.
17. Children
Raverzone is intended for users aged 16 years and older.
Users under 16 are not permitted to create an account.
If Raverzone becomes aware that an account belongs to someone who does not meet this age requirement, appropriate action may be taken, including restricting or deleting the account.
18. Third-party links
Raverzone may contain links to third-party websites, social media platforms, event organizers, artists or other independent services.
Raverzone is not responsible for the privacy practices of independent third-party websites.
You should review the privacy information of an independent service before providing personal information directly to that service.
19. Changes to this Privacy Policy
Raverzone may update this Privacy Policy when the platform, its functionality, its data practices or applicable legal requirements change.
The most recent version will be made available through Raverzone together with its last-updated date.
